Inverness
Most of our coach tour groups will spend considerable quality time visiting our compact Scottish Highland capital city of Inverness.
The city benefits from being located only 25 miles to the south of the port of Invergordon, on the route to/from legendary Loch Ness, one of the most ‘in demand’ visitor hot spots in Europe.
But of course the tens of thousands of cruise guests that visit Inverness each year only represents a portion of all tourism footfall that visits the city each tourism season.
Between April and October each year coaches from across the UK and beyond roll into Ardross Street, the designated location for the city centre coach passenger set down and pick up service.
For much of the season the city centre roads would be gridlocked were it not for the considerable traffic management skills of Janice and her band of assistants who provide the visiting coach ‘meet and greet’ service for Inverness BID (Business Improvement District).
At Invergordon Bus Tours we are always grateful for the warm Scottish Highland welcome that our valued cruise guests and our tour crews always receive from Janice and her team when we arrive in Inverness.
